The project "Secluded Dwelling" is a private residence located next to a park in the suburbs, which took 1.5 years from design to completion. The homeowner has a passion for nature, enjoys collecting and crafting handmade items, and seeks a living space that embodies a natural and relaxed atmosphere. Their definition of this residence is a world of their own in the bustling city. Therefore, the design of this case is inspired from "nature" and introduced into the interior space, expressing the natural vitality and relaxation in the space, creating a tranquil, warm, quiet, soft, full of natural atmosphere of living space for the homeowners. The design of this project is to restore a natural and relaxing living place through the use of natural stone, wood and other materials as well as spatial structure layout design techniques. The color scheme of the space is also inspired by nature, with warm wood and beige colors used as the base for a large area of the interior space, and then embellished with plants. The decorative design of the space is also deeply inspired by nature, from the patina ornaments, stone texture, fabric patterns to all the details are almost centered around the forest, mountains and rivers, so that the space is everywhere natural, creating a scene of natural vitality. In the meantime, the design concept of "wabi-sabi" is combined with the idea of creating warmth and authenticity in imperfections, so that the objects inside the house can have "traces of time" without intentionally creating a perfect life. The space is filled with a large number of objects collected by the owners, each of which is filled with a sense of story after years of experience, and is more touching than commercialized products.The whole design of this project is human-centered, not only to provide the homeowners with a "natural and relaxed" lifestyle of aesthetic atmosphere, and at the same time as far as possible to balance the functionality and aesthetics of the same, so that the residence has become a "Xanadu in the hustle. Living in it is like being in nature!
