Chem is a radiator system designed to bring all the charm of industrial plants into the home environment. The basic element is a 9 cm diameter tube, curved at the top, like a pipeline running through the room from floor to wall. With heights ranging from 2.16 to 2.56 meters, Chem is a large product, available single or with multiple elements, even low ones, to meet any heat output or space requirements.

In the future, every home could be equipped with systems capable of producing its own energy and heat. In the meantime, I tried to imagine that scenario with an object with a decidedly engineering flavor. One must also consider that houses are getting smaller and smaller, so the height development of any complement frees up space to take advantage of the walls.

The design was a technical challenge. Water flows in a chamber between the outer and the inner pipe so as to reduce consumption, activate convective motions, and maximize radiant surface area. The special cover in contact with the wall has three functions: it is the fixing system, allowing air circulation and protecting the wall from blackening or haloing. It is also available in a towel warmer version with up to 3 original square-shaped tubes and in electric version with thermostat and any connection system. Finally, there is no shortage of dedicated accessories such as hooks and bars for bathrobes and towels.

In the civil sphere it fits ideally into contexts with an industrial flavor, where there are high ceilings or a mezzanine. In the contract sphere it can easily look like a pre-existing technical component, so as not to insert new aesthetic elements, ideal, for example, in industrial recovery projects or renovation of spaces of historical and artistic interest.
My desire is that its functional and minimalist style, makes it an iconic and timeless product.
