The project is a reception center located in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The designers realized that there was a trend of younger buyers in the area. These young consumers are very receptive to bold colors and are willing to let the space show its uniqueness. As the market is generally minimalist and modern, the design is based on the anti-boring "pop style". Colorful and saturated colors make the space look more active. The interesting aesthetic impression has become a trendsetter in the local housing market.
-Colorful Activity
In art history, the Pop style with different color combinations can be said to give people a deep impression and impact. This project flexibly utilizes the core concept of Pop style by bright color flashes on the walls, giving the ceiling, floor, and walls a diversified, rich, and interesting look. Combined with black and white lines of different thicknesses, it creates subtlety in richness and reveals aesthetics in subtlety, creating an interior with an artistic flavor.
-Flexible Layout
The showroom is planned as a studio apartment. The designers installed sliding doors to allow the layout to be defined flexibly according to the context. The sliding doors provide flexibility and privacy. At the same time, the vista color palette represents the non-physical boundaries of each area.
