Longjing Park is located in the core area of Longjing Village, close to Guangyi Middle School and farmers' market, which is an important part of the renewal and upgrading of Longjing Village. Based on Longjing Village's rich natural landscape, simple folk customs, and historical backgfound such as the hometown of hero Wang Pu and the ancient Tea Horse Road, we take 鈥渞ural aesthetics鈥� as the starting point to determine the design concept of 鈥減rotecting historical relics, tracing red footprints, displaying folk customs, and awakening the memory of The Times鈥�, mainly focusing on local characteristics, cultural characteristics and times characteristics in order to create a characteristic park that integrates with the city and the block.
Our design mainly excavates the local cultural elements, extracts the representative elements of life in Longjing Village, and takes cultural installations, cultural walls and interactive facilities, etc., as the medium, and creates the story line of IP "Little dragon" representing the villagers' childhood images and connecting the entire cultural installations in Longjing Village, telling the villagers' real memories of Longjing more vividly. The daily life scenes of villagers such as "playing cards and enjoying cool under the ficus virens" and 鈥渟hopping for buying vegetables and fish each 3rd, 6th and 9th鈥� are transformed into new expressions using artistic techniques, which is not only a display of local folk culture, but also a flexible transformation from daily aesthetic to artistic aesthetic.
The updated Longjing Village will become a reinvigorated place, so that walking and sitting residents have a better environment. The children play together around the installations, listening to the recollected elders tell a similar but different story. The significance of this update is not only to create a beautiful scene, but also to refine and reorganize the residents' individual and group memories, so that people can find their inner happiness and sense of belonging in a familiar and novel environment.
