This work aims to combine historical elements with modern needs to create a unique brand experience.

Originated in the 18th century, monocle became a popular accessory for gentry at that time. This brand concept store -- Monocle, is named after the monocle with a long history as inspiration, and takes the prevailing industrial age style as the space tone, so as to inject exquisite craft image.

At the same time, the design team attaches great importance to the sincere contact between people, absorbs the concept of more focus and accuracy from the monocular point of view, and expects to provide more accurate service quality in place. It also integrates the rigidity of curved soft rational space, and collocation of two-way smooth back word moving line, giving friendly and humanized space characteristics.

The space is set in an industrial tone, with exposed metal ducts and track lights that highlight the rugged and retro craftsmanship details. Through the symmetrical layout of display layer, light belt and island-style design, the linear vision is driven, and the moving line is cleverly guided, revealing the simplicity and cleanness of modernism.

Along the moving lines, an island-style cabinet is arranged centrally, narrowing the distance with customers. At the same time, it is centered on the island-style cabinet, with a square-shaped moving line as the circulation, which is convenient to pass through back and forth, and the space is more breathing.

Taking into account customers’ habits of selecting products, the display area on one side is specially set with sliding mirror doors, which can be moved and selected at any time according to the pace of guests to meet the needs for mirrors. The position of mirror is also carefully considered to subtly reflect the outdoor green shade, forming a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor, so that the natural beauty is integrated into the shopping experience, adding interest and broaden the vision. The light strip then reflects each other with the mirror, spreading through the light to enhance the brightness level of the space.
