The 2025 Wanjin Azalea Festival, themed 鈥淟et鈥檚 Go Bloom,鈥� takes root in the floral industry of Wanli and Jinshan. It weaves together local culture, natural landscapes, and agricultural revitalization to become the most iconic springtime flower festival along Taiwan鈥檚 North Coast. Since 2021, the New Taipei City Government has promoted the Wanjin Azalea brand to break the stereotype of azaleas as mere ornamental greenery. By combining floricultural expertise with artistic installations, photo and landscape competitions, tourism hotspots, and local business partnerships, the festival repositions azaleas as cultural symbols that unite art, place, and industry鈥攁dvancing a vision for year-round economic sustainability.
