The site is an old house. Named "Eclipse," the design was inspired by the visual effects of light. The designers drew from the phenomenon of a solar eclipse, transforming this natural wonder into the inspiration for the space design. Through the meticulous plan, the natural laws are condensed within this space.
The designers used dark wood veneer as the main color, paired with linear lighting to create a solar eclipse halo effect. The staircase became a focal point, and the layering of different materials replicated the experience of gazing at celestial phenomena. The 360-degree rotating TV wall connects the entire space. The kitchen island extends into a sloped dining table, linking the living room, dining room, and kitchen, enhancing interaction among people. The designers skillfully used materials and light to create a home that is both modern and warm, emphasizing functionality and aesthetics to achieve a rich sensory experience.
