Located at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, the newest Starbucks licensed store seamlessly merges Venetian culture with modern coffee experiences. Drawing inspiration from Venice’s rich history, particularly the tradition of Maschere (masks) and Maschereri (mask-makers), the design celebrates self-expression, much like the masks of old that revealed rather than concealed one’s identity. This philosophy mirrors the Starbucks Siren—our muse, symbolizing transformation and discovery.

The design integrates the grandeur of Renaissance Venice with contemporary elements, featuring intricate details, symbolic motifs, and luxurious finishes like natural stone and gold accents. Rich textures and immersive lighting create a warm, inviting atmosphere where customers are encouraged to explore their individuality with each cup of coffee. Our goal was to create an environment where history, art, and coffee culture converge, providing a unique and immersive experience. The store’s architecture, inspired by Venetian palace, features elegant arches and detailed craftsmanship, reflecting the artistry of mask-makers. The Siren’s call, a key element of the Starbucks brand, invites customers to embark on their own journey of self-discovery in a space that balances historical grandeur with modern comfort.
